£3.99 or 4 for £10
As a wise man called Monty once said….”It’s not dead, it’s pining for the fjords!”. Are these the Fjords that the dead parrot was pining for?
There are five flavours available in the Fjord range from Norse, all are fruit based and there are some interesting blends that sound pretty tasty, Cherry/Plum for example, I can’t recall seeing Plum in an e-liquid before.
- Prickly Pear & Lemon
- Cherry & Plum
- Cloudberry Raspberry & Redcurrant
- Peach Apricot & Raspberry
- Crushed Lime & Mint
They are available in either 10mg or 20mg and come in high quality 10ml bottles, £3.99 each is quite expensive but 4 for £10 brings them into bargain territory.
They are also available in shortfills if that’s your thing, Michelle reviewed them for POTV here:

These Nic Salts are a more traditional blend rather than the over-sweetened ‘disposables’ that are on trend at the moment, it made a very refreshing change to try these out.
They are a 50PG/50VG blend which suits higher ohm MTL vaping, and various vape kits such as pod kits/starter kits/mouth to lung RTAs/RDAs, e-liquids like these are a perfect fuel for my Billet Box so I was hoping they would become one for my shopping list.
But for taste testing I have recently discovered what will now be my benchmark device as the flavour this thing delivers is fantastic and I currently don’t know anything better...the VooPoo Doric Q with a 1.0ohm pod.
It might look a bit basic, and indeed it is, but the vape quality instantly won me over. If e-liquid doesn’t taste good in this little bugger then it won’t taste good in anything!
So let’s get stuck in, as always. Taste is subjective, but I like semi-sweet fruit blends in Nic Salts so these should suit my palette.
Prickly Pear & Lemon
"Prickly Pear & Lemon E- Shortfill by Norse is a refreshing fruit vape juice that combines smooth pear and lively lemon for a sweet and refreshing vape. This simple but delicious combination of flavours is ideal for long vaping sessions and will delight the palate from the first puff to the last."
Right off the bat Norse have come up with a very interesting combination, who would have thunk prickly pear and lemon would go together? It turns out they do and it makes the sweet pear more citrus due to the lemon kick which is where the ‘prickly’ comes from, the result tastes awesome but I did struggle to chain vape this one as it caused me to cough. I enjoyed it but I had to moderate my consumption a bit and it was not quite an ADV (All Day Vape).
Cherry & Plum
"Cherry & Plum Nic Salt E-liquid by Norse is a bold and punchy fruit combination that oozes with rich flavours. This flavour is sure to be a fan favourite thanks to a clear and sweet cherry note backed up by warm and rich plum."
Cherry & Plum, eh? This should be interesting. It was indeed and was an instant success for me. These two punchy flavours blend together so well, the cherry is the dominant flavour and the plum is plum-last as it were. It still punches through and you can really taste it in the after-taste which leaves quite a lush flavour in your mouth for a while. Despite it being punchy, I would still choose this as an ADV.
Cloudberry Raspberry & Redcurrant
"Cloudberry, Raspberry & Redcurrant Nic Salt E-liquid by Norse is a uniquely Scandinavian flavour infused with the intricate notes of Cloudberry as well as tangy Raspberry and Redcurrant. This combination of juicy berries is perfect for fruit lovers who will find the subtle blend of sweet notes simply irresistible."
WTF? What the heck is cloudberry? I had to google it to find out….. A cloudberry is the small fruit of the plant Rubus chamaemorus, and it looks a bit like a yellowy-orange raspberry. Cloudberries have a fresh slightly sharp taste that some describe as a cross between redcurrants and raspberries.
I’m none the wiser but it is interesting that Norse blends it with raspberry and redcurrant. Can you guess what it tastes like? You guessed it, raspberry and redcurrant but slightly spicier. It had a very subtle mulled wine aftertaste and worked well, I really enjoyed this flavour and I especially enjoyed how different it was to anything else I had tasted. It was more of a treat than an ADV for me but a pretty close call.
Peach Apricot & Raspberry
"Peach Apricot & Raspberry Nic Salt by Norse is a crafty combination of fruits that will delight lovers of sweet and punchy fruit flavours. Sweet notes of peach and apricot are perfectly complemented by bold raspberry for a delicate flavour that truly stands out from the crowd."
I could have almost quoted E-liquid.com’s description for this and gotten away with it, its bob on! The fruits come out in that order and make a powerful combination, the raspberry tone is genius as it makes what could have been an over-sweetened flavour into a well-balanced smooth blend of very tasty fruits. I reckon this recipe would work well in a real fruit salad, an instant like and ADV.
Crushed Lime & Mint
"Crushed Lime & Mint Nic Salt E-liquid by Norse is a cool and refreshing vape flavour perfect for lovers of menthol and citrus alike. Lime and Mint combine for a lively flavour profile that excites the palate, perfect for refreshing your taste buds after vaping sweet or rich e-liquids."
This one felt a bit different from the rest as there was no fruit combination, the lime was clearly dominant and the mint gave it a bit of an ice kick. It worked well as the mint toned down the lime enough to become smooth. I found it a bit harsh for an ADV though and it was not as interesting as the other flavours.
Conclusion
Overall I was impressed with the Fjord range and choosing four out of the five to take advantage of the 4 for £10 offer is an easy choice. Peach, Apricot & Raspberry became my peak flavour, but I will be buying more for my Billet Box fuel as I use regular round wire coils which calm down flavours a touch so those slightly harsh flavours should work better.
But as pod-fuel they all work well, there’s not a bad flavour amongst them and I recommend you try each at least one to find out your favourite, none of them should end up as sink-fodder.
Thanks goes to E-liquids.com for letting me try these out.
