Well, we are over halfway through our deep dive into the humongous selection of new ranges from Nixer, the undisputed heavyweights of the longfills world, thanks to Vape Club who sent them all over for review. The massive box isn’t looking quite so intimidating now there is a bit of space, but fear not, as we still have a few more weeks to go!
This time, it is another collaboration, Nixer has teamed up with Mix Labs to bring some of their intensely strong, disposable inspired flavours to the longfill format. Whilst these may not initially seem like the most complex flavours, don’t be fooled in to thinking things are going to be simple.
Now I don’t what to sound like a broken record as we have covered several Nixer ranges already, but just in case you have missed any of the previous reviews, Nixer is a new concept in longfill e-liquids. Basically, you choose your flavour which will come concentrated and supercharged in a bottle that will become 60ml of finished juice once you have added your Nixer Mixer pack. These mixer packs contain a mix of nic shots and unflavoured base which will make up your chosen style and strength of juice. This adds a great level of customisation, whether you prefer salts or freebase, 0mg or 10mg, iced or regular, there is a Nixer Mixer for you.
As I said earlier, the Mix Labs collabs are based on the style of disposables vapes, so you can expect big, bold flavours and a signature dusting of ice. If this isn’t your MO, then maybe take a look at some of the other great Nixer flavours, but if you like disposable flavours but are looking for a more cost effective, ethical way to vape, these could be just what you are looking for.
Peach Ice

We are starting as we mean to carry on here, big, humongous flavour for days! I find peach can get a little sickly after a while, but this one is different. There is a slight twist going on which I wasn’t expecting, it is more than just peach. There is a tart twang sitting alongside the sweet, juicy peach. I would say it is possibly leaning towards a perfectly ripe nectarine, it has a bit more bite than your average soft, fuzzy peach. The ice is a final piece of the puzzle, leaving a fresh feel ready to clear the way for the smooth aftertaste.
Mango Ice

I love mango vapes, and they really don’t get much better than this. The trouble is I have a habit of saying that every time Dispergo mix a mango recipe, but they really do take one of my favourite fruits and push it to the edge of reason. Think of all the best bits of eating a perfect mango, and you will find it here, the natural sweetness, the smooth juiciness, the classic tropical bliss, Better still, it is all good, clean fun, all the taste and none of the mess.
Cola

This is a really sweet cola, and I expected my coils to take a hammering as cola historically a bit of a nightmare when it comes to burning things up, but I ran a few tanks one after the other with no hint of nastiness creeping in. As for the flavour, it tasted more like jelly candies than the drink, and this hit me as soon as I cracked the seal on the bottle. It is a thick, heavy flavour which coats every part of your mouth. To be honest, it makes most disposable cola vapes feel a bit lightweight.
Mad Bull

Don’t let the name fool you, I thought it was going to be an energy drink flavour, but a quick sniff soon put that theory to bed. This is a bountiful berry fusion, namely blueberries and raspberries. The raspberry is a sweet, stickly jam style flavour which has been rounded off with some fragrant and authentic blueberries. It is a classic combination done right which lifts it above the ordinary and turns it into something beautiful.
Watermelon Ice
A favourite flavour when it comes to disposable vapes, and recently there seems to be a trend for dialling up the concentration without really thinking about how it effects the final product. Watermelon should be refreshing, clean, and tasty, and this Nixer X Mix Lab version ticks all of those boxes. I found the ice was a bit more prominent this time, but that works well with watermelon as it amps up the refreshment. It also relies on a sugary sweetness rather than sweeteners which wins some big brownie points here it lets the flavour shine on its own.
Final Thoughts
I purposefully left the Nixer X Mix Labs range for roughly the midpoint as I saw they disposable type flavours and assumed we were in for a more standard vape. I mistakenly thought I would be getting a bit of a break, if I am honest, I thought I could use this a breather before we head for the final straight (and trust me, we have some real treats to come). But as soon as I popped the first seal and got my first smell, I realised my mistake. But when my mistakes taste as god as this, I really don’t mind being proved wrong! If you like disposable type flavours, these are an easy win, but if you love strong yet superbly crafted e-liquids, this should be high on your “to buy” list.
