iStick Pico Baby

Most vapers know the iStick range from Eleaf. It was a ground-breaking mod at the time and the iStick 30 and 50W variants were a firm favourite with many vapers. Then arrived the iStick Pico - this little winner takes an 18650 battery, pushes out up to 75W and takes tanks up to 22mm in size. An amazing mod and superb value for money!

Design and Build Quality

The iStick Pico Baby is small - measuring in at 41mm wide x 23mm deep and a height of 75mm to the top of the GS Baby tank that comes bundled with the kit. This is a great option for stealth vaping with its pocket sized dimensions!

Six colour finishes are available for the iStick Pico Baby, with silver, black, greenery, red, blue and purple being the current options. The brushed finish on the ‘greenery’ version we received looks fantastic, and it holds up to being carried around in my pocket, with no visible scratches appearing over the past month that I have used this kit!

A magnetic connector smartly locks the GS Baby tank in place within the iStick Pico Baby, meaning you have a fast and easy secure connection and you don’t need to worry about the tank sliding out of the mod.

A small magnetic ring is screwed onto the base of the GS Baby tank, which can be unscrewed and removed should you wish to use the GS Baby tank on another mod. You can also use other small tanks in the iStick Pico Baby up to 14mm in diameter with the supplied o-ring adaptor!

An inbuilt 1050mAh battery is designed to keep you vaping throughout the day, with an LED battery life indicator and a USB charging port built into the device for fast and convenient charging on the go. An innovative button lock system is built in to guard against misfires whilst being carried around in your pocket!

Eleaf’s new GS Baby tank comes included with the kit, and it is designed for use with the iStick Pico Baby. It features a refined airflow system with fully adjustable airflow, and takes GS Air coils that have been designed to offer pure flavour. You get two 0.75ohm GS Air coils included with the kit.

The GS Baby tank is manufactured from stainless steel with a glass tank section, and features a 2ml capacity and refilling is done by unscrewing the tank section from the base and filling through the bottom. The tank must be removed from the mod in order to fill it or adjust the airflow.

Performance

The iStick Pico Baby can output up to 25W of power, and fire resistances of 0.4ohm-3ohm. It is a one button operation device, making it very easy to use! 5 clicks of the power button will turn it on and off and a single click will fire it- I must say that with the locking ring on the power button I’ve never felt the need to turn the device off when not using it!

A large, circular power button is located at the top of the iStick Pico Baby, with a locking ring around the outside of it. Unscrew it to fire, and screw it back down to lock it. The power button does have a pretty long throw, and you need to ensure the locking ring is fully unscrewed for the button to work correctly.

An LED light indicator displays how much battery life is left, with it staying illuminated for five seconds after each puff when 100-60% is remaining, flashing once every three seconds for four cycles when 59-30% is remaining, flashing once every second for four seconds when 29-10% is remaining, and flashing rapidly when 9-0% remains. The 1050 mAh in built battery is recharged via USB, and the LED will display a red light when charging, blinking off when done. I’ve found that battery life is great on the whole, I only need to charge it every other day as I use it sparingly throughout the day!

The GS Air tank features adjustable airflow, you can get a very restricted lung hit from it with the airflow fully open however this is primarily a mouth to lung tank. Flavour is actually very good, and I’ve been getting just about two weeks out of the 0.75ohm GS Air coil heads!

Conclusion

This is a perfect little stealth vaping set up which I have found ideal for vaping nicotine salts in! I find the iStick Pico Baby kit to be a great back up device for carrying around in my pocket, or for keeping in the car.

It’s a good option for new vapers to consider as well, especially if they are looking for an upgrade to their current starter kit. It’s a very simple and easy kit to use, and anyone can get to grips with it!

Many thanks to UK Vapour Brands for sending the iStick Pico Baby in for review!  If you are interested in stocking Eleaf products for your store then do check them out at https://www.ukvapourbrands.co.uk/.
