So today we are looking at the newest Vaporesso pod kit – the LUXE Q. We all know Vaporesso are a very regarded vape manufacturer, they know their stuff and have brought us some fantastic product over the last few years. So let’s see what this little pod kit is all about shall we?
Key Features
- 1000mAh built-in battery
- 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω mesh pods
- Adjustable airflow (rotating the pod)
- Top filling system
- SSS leak-resistant technology
- Auto draw activation only
- Available in 7 colours
In the box
As to be expected from Vaporesso, the kit is presented beautifully. I love this colour! It comes with a manual, warranty card, two mesh pods and a USB-C cable.
In Use
The Vaporesso Luxe Q is light and small at 91.85mm x 26mm x 16.5mm (including the pod). It has that leather type look and they have used some anti fingerprint material on the panels, and the sides have a nice shiny chrome effect but I believe it’s all plastic. It has a good quality feel to it though. The USB-C connector is on one panel at the back and the LED is at the front. This is a basic pod kit, no buttons, sliders etc...
The LED is the battery indicator – green 70-100%, blue 70-30% and red 30% or less. It flashes when charging, and then when fully charged it glows with a solid green light, and it takes around one hour to fully charge.
The pod is very similar to PM40, just a little smaller, and I prefer the thickness of the mouthpiece on the Luxe Q. You fill it the same way by flipping the top off. You can see the fill hole and the air outlet hole which I like as it's clean. It comes with two inbuilt mesh coils 0.8ohm (red) and 1.2ohm (black). It has a new SSS leak resistant technology, this works well as I have had no leaks what so ever from either pod and that includes it being left for a few days with juice in it. The pods are completely clear so when filling it’s easy to see, but when it’s in the device the window is very small so you will need to tilt it to check the liquid level.
The flavour from both pods was very good indeed. There is adjustable airflow in that you can rotate the pod for either a tighter MTL or vice versa. You can see there is one air inlet on one side of the device. I personally didn’t notice a huge difference between the two airflow options, you could tell there was a difference but for me it was still MTL or very RDL. The coil life was pretty average, around 7-8 days with heavy usage.
With both pods I used 50/50 nic salts and enjoyed them both. The 0.8ohm coil hit slightly harder and was a warmer vape which is to be expected. With this device I would say you get between 2-4 on the DD-Drawometer (10 being airy and 1 being tight)
Top 5 pros
- Battery – 1000mAh
- Good flavour
- USB-C – charges faster and has passthrough
- NO leaks at all
- Easy to fill
- Good quality and looks lush
Niggles
- E-liquid window is small – not a deal breaker though
- On a few occasions I got e-liquid in the mouth, I have no idea why as it was not overfilled and it was charged. It happened quite a lot with the 1.2 mesh pod
DeeDee’s scoring: 8.5/10
Ease of use: 9
Flavour 8.5
Design/Quality 8
Conclusion
The Vaporesso Luxe Q is a good little pod kit for a new starter. I think there are some better pod kits out there, but saying that you will always get quality with Vaporesso. This is nothing fancy, it does the job and it does it well!
Thank you again to Vaporesso for sending this into me.

Reviewer at POTVIn August 2019 I joined POTV & in Sept I bought a Caliburn and some nic salts & have not touched a cigarette since! I was smoking around 20 cigarettes a day for 26 years!! Mental! I honestly appreciate all the help and guidance from the POTV members, they made the switch so much easier!I am very much into MTL PODs & AIOs.
