Sikary S6000 Rechargeable Disposable Vapes

The disposable market is changing fast with one eye on the near future. This time we check out the Sikary S6000 large capacity, rechargeable disposable vape kit

Our friends over at Vape Club are always hunting for the best new products with the biggest flavours, so when they asked if we’d like to try out the Sikary S6000 large capacity rechargeable disposable vapes, we just had to say yes.

I know rechargeable and disposable are two words that sound at odds with each other, but what this means is that you get a larger 10ml juice container along with the 2ml internal pod, and you can keep charging the 800mAh battery to keep you going until you run out of juice, which makes the Sikary S6000 a much better option than the more traditional single use products that you find littering the streets and countryside everywhere.

Unboxing

The Sikary S6000 comes in a standard cardboard box with an eye-catching graphic showing you exactly what to expect inside. Opening it up, you will find two plastic tear to open sealed packages, one containing the main device, and the other housing the 10ml juice container. Once you have removed them from the packaging, you get your first look at the kit, and I have to say, it looked way nicer than I expected, but I’ll get on to that in more detail shortly. Before you get to really admire everything properly, you’ll need to assemble things. It is pretty simple; you remove the large sticker that covers the juice container and then slide it into the side of the device. It is shaped so it can only go in one way, it is all pretty instinctive. You will need to use a bit of elbow grease to get things together though, some slid in smoothly, and others needed a hefty push, and I was a little concerned that I may break something. One, in particular, didn’t want to push in, and I thought I may have to admit defeat, but then suddenly…click! So the tolerances are all a bit different, you have been warned!

Once assembled, you can finally fully admire the smooth contours and the rich colours which make this such an appealing kit. Each flavour has its own colour, and to say they pop is an understatement. Little details really help too, for example, each mouthpiece has been carefully colour coordinated to give each unit its own look.

The juice containers are made from a darker transparent plastic which looks great, but even better, it is clear enough that you can easily see how much e-liquid you have left. Printed on the outer window is the flavour, so you know what you are vaping, as if you couldn’t tell from the taste!

The USB-C charging port is on the base of the kit so you will need to lie it down to charge. Normally this is something I don’t like in pod kits as there is the potential for leaks, but this is a sealed unit once assembled so everything will stay exactly where it is meant to be. Just one word of caution, the kit doesn’t include a charging cable, but it is just a standard USB so if you have a mobile phone, you will already have a cable you can use. Next to the charging port, you’ll notice a small vent hole, essential when it comes to battery safety.

Out of the box, all these kits looked simply gorgeous, but they won’t stay pristine for long, the plastic shell is prone to scratching. But this isn’t a long term kit so again, it isn’t an issue.

The Flavours

There are fifteen flavours to try in the Sikary S6000 range, mostly fruit but there is also a menthol, a tobacco, and a couple of beverage flavours so most folks will be able to find something they like. All have varying levels of ice, but this is just standard with disposable flavours.

Vanilla Tobacco

This isn’t the most tobaccoy tobacco I’ve ever tried, but the vanilla is amazing. I am not really a fan of disposable tobacco flavours, but this is more like a vanilla with a twist. It makes me wish Sikary had gone with vanilla latte instead of tobacco as that could have been spectacular. But they didn’t so instead we have a rich, sweet, surprisingly decadent vanilla with hints of something vaguely tobacco.

Strawberry Ice

This is a big, sweet strawberry with a fair bit of ice, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I love jammy strawberry flavours, so this was right up my street, and even after you get hit with the ice, the fruity aftertaste still carries on. Thankfully it also has quite a natural sweetness, I hate the taste of artificial sweeteners, but I didn’t find that to be a problem here.

Mineral Water

This was the one I was most intrigued by, I am always excited to give unique flavours a go, and I can honestly say I haven’t come across water flavoured e-liquid before. It is described as a mix of mint and ice, but as ever, I went into this blind, and I just found it to be a really light and refreshing vape which tasted mellow and unintrusive. It is very clean and refreshing, and I would definitely vape more of it.

Watermelon Strawberry

The Strawberry is pretty similar to the strawberry Ice, maybe dialled back a little to compliment the watermelon. I was hoping for something special here, and I was slightly underwhelmed, but not disappointed. It is a pretty standard, slightly floral melon flavour, perfectly tasty, but not mind-blowing.

Cherry Ice

This is a wonderful, sweet cherry, with everything you could want from the flavour. It starts with a sweet tangy flavour and then a richer juicy notes kick in and everything keeps building from then on in. The ice is pronounced but not overpowering and the two elements work well to compliment each other. This could be one of my favourite cherry flavours to date

Kiwi Passion fruit

I admit that I tend to cringe when I see kiwi flavours, it is overused these days and often ruins a perfectly good liquid, but Sikary have been smart, and I now know what it is I don’t like. Usually there is another fruit in the mix, guava, and I think it just doesn’t go with kiwi, but here there are just the two flavours, and it works so much better. It helps that the passionfruit is bold and zingy, so the kiwi is able to do its thing nicely in the background.

Coconut Melon

This was another one that got me excited, it is a more unusual combo in disposable flavours, but it’s a really great mix, with the caveat that if you don’t like coconut, this is going to do nothing to change your mind. Sikary has got the balance with the coconut just right too, it is creamy without being heavy, and it is light enough that the melon has space to come through. Once it does make its presence known, it lingers well into the aftertaste too. Top marks here.

Triple Mango

I was really looking forward to this as I love mango flavours, but for me, it doesn’t deliver. There is a strange creamy effect, and the fruit flavour tastes more like a generic tropical flavour rather than a specific flavour. It certainly isn’t unpleasant, but I wouldn’t be in a hurry to try it again.

Lemon Lime

If you like starburst sweets but with a slightly sharper edge, this is the flavour for you. I don’t think you can really go far wrong with this citrus one-two punch though; it just depends on whether you prefer sweet or sharp. I think this should cater to both tastes though as it just about manages to balance both sides pretty well.

Watermelon Ice

Ok, this explains the disappointing Strawberry Watermelon, the watermelon just isn’t anything special. I couldn’t even definitively say what I don’t like, maybe it’s the floral notes, maybe it is just a tad sweeter than I personally like, it could be that it just doesn’t really work for me. That said, taste is subjective so take this with a pinch of salt.

Raspberry Mint

Interesting! This was not what I was expecting. The mint is the stronger flavour here, fresh and clean, almost veering towards menthol, and the raspberry is a sweeter follow up. It possible wouldn’t be one I’d order again, but it you want to try something a little bit different, this may be worth a try.

Cola

This smells amazing, and it tastes pretty good too, although I thought it might have more of a syrup flavour as the smell certainly hinted at that. To me, it tastes more like a mix of cola with lemonade, and for me, that works pretty well. There is also a hint of fizz that could be contributing to the lemonade taste I get from it.

Menthol

I was braced for this one as some menthols are a bit too fresh for me, but this was definitely in my comfort zone. I’d class it more as a mint, a fresh one, but still definitely minty rather than glacial. I really like it; it is pretty much the perfect chewing gum mint flavour.

Blueberry Raspberry

I am glad the raspberry flavour got a second shot as it comes into its own here. It is very sweet and not an authentic berry flavour, but that doesn’t matter. The blueberry is well balanced and perfectly works in combination with its red cousin. If you enjoy berry combos, this could be one for you.

Bull Ice

Thankfully no bovines were hurt in the making of this juice! Sadly, it also doesn’t quite give me wings either. I can’t even say it tastes like knock off energy drinks either. I can’t really tell you what it tastes like either, it is its own flavour, for better or for worse.

Final Thoughts

The Sikary S6000 range has so much to love, just the design alone wins it some major kudos. It feels as good as it looks too, with some really nice detail such as the clearly visible juice window. Not only that, but there are also some fantastic flavours to choose from to back up the outward design.

It isn’t all sunshine and flowers though, a few of the flavours didn’t quite hit the mark although in a range as big as this, it is only to be expected. Plus there is the occasional difficultly in clipping the two halves together which may cause issues, especially if you don’t have the strongest wrists. These are pretty minor issues though especially when weighed up against the positives. Overall, the Sikary S6000 range is a winner.

If you would like to see the Sikary S6000 range for yourself, then head over to Vape Club where you can pick them up for £11.99 each. If you like a bargain as much as I do, you can also bundle up with the fantastic 3 for £30 offer.

Many thanks to Vape Club for sending the Sikary S6000 range in for review.
