In use
Let’s be honest, this was never going to be a complicated kit to use, it’s a pod kit with changeable coils, no screens or settings to fiddle with.
The pods have the same snap off top mouthpiece so you can fill, and there is a tiny hole to allow air to escape whilst filling. The fill hole has a silicone port to reduce overflow and leaks. The pod is clear so you can very easily see your liquid level. It connects nicely in place with a click to the main device, no magnets used. It is different to the original Caliburn/KoKo pods, it's shaped more rounded and is a little thicker but is still comfortable. The liquid level windows are a little wider too.
The airflow adjustment works the same as many others in that you rotate the pod to get an airy MTL draw or a tight MTL draw, it works well, and you can tell the difference. The body of the device has one small airflow hole on one side and on the pod, it also has a small airflow hole on one side which is what gives you the wider airflow option. To get more air, you just align the holes on the pod and device, easy peasy!
The main body of the device is comfortable in the hand, it's light but feels strong. I like the ridges and the colour. The power button sits slightly higher so easy to use, five clicks to lock and unlock. The charging port is on the base of the device. The LED light is towards the bottom under the logo and will light up every time you push the button or inhale on the mouthpiece, and the colour indicates battery level:
- Green: 60-100%
- Blue: 30-60%
- Red: 0-30%
The 690mAh battery is an improvement but as the output is higher than the original, it means you probably only get an hour more out of it, but that is still a good 5-6 hours of medium usage. Charging takes around 45-50 mins.
What I like
- Excellent flavour
- Decent coil life – around 10 days (this depends on use and juice used)
- Compact and lightweight
- Great quality device and pods
- Easy to use
- Top fill design
- Two airflow options both are suited to MTL
- No leaking
- No spit back or gurgling
- Replaceable coils
- Type-C charging
- Charges quickly
- Comfortable mouthpiece
- Great colour choices
Cons (for me)
I personally found it too warm. Unfortunately, I wasn’t sent a 1.0Ohm coil to try and have struggled to buy one in time for this review, so not sure if using the 1.0Ohm would reduce the warmth due to the output being less.
Final thoughts
This is 100% a mouth to lung device. Whether you like it a little airier or tighter, this kit would cover all your MTL needs. The flavour is divine but personally I just do not like the warmth which is a shame. I absolutely love everything else about it.
DeeDee’s Score 8/10 If it was not as warm it would be a 10 from me!

I honestly appreciate all the help and guidance from the POTV members, they made the switch so much easier!I am very much into MTL PODs & AIOs.
