Thank you to TECC for sending this in for review.
Now before we get started, I noticed that this is exactly the same as the Joyetech eGo Pod that I reviewed in September last year so, after speaking to TECC they have confirmed it is the same its just been rebranded! Of course, I have still used the kit and my review is based on my use of this VIGA Pod Kit. No, I have not done a “copy paste” haha
In the box
Key Features
- 1000 mAh internal battery
- Closed 1.2ohm pod with 2 juice capacity
- Auto Draw only
- Constant Voltage + 1.0A max current
- Dimensions 98mmx19mm + 47g weight
- IC 1.0 Chip
As you can see it comes in a small box with a decent length charging cable instead of those stupid tiny ones that are completely useless in my opinion. You also get a handy filling tips sheet which is a nice touch. Included is the user manual, the device and one pod (two would have been nice)
In use
It really isn’t rocket science. You fill the pod at the base, it has a child resistant push refill mechanism which I like as it's less messy and I had no leaking from the fill port. The e-liquid level is easy to see as the pod is clear. It shows the resistance of the coil on the pod itself (1.2ohm 9-12W). It has a MAX level line on the pod which is a low-level juice sign, again a nice touch. The pod only sits in the device one way and you can feel when it is sitting correctly plus you can see too as it will be flush with the top of the device. It is hard to explain but easy to work out.
The main device has the USB charge port one the side and two large liquid windows on both sides. There is an LED light which shows red whilst charging, and one small airhole above it.
There is no power button, just fill and go!
So how does it vape huh?
I filled it with Juice Head Pineapple Grapefruit 10mg Nic Salts, left it for around ten mins and off I went. It is 100% a mouth to lung device with a medium draw. It is not as nice as I remember the eGo Pod to be, I didn’t find it as smooth but it was still a decent vape. I think due to the fact I have reviewed some amazing kits lately, this now feels outdated and not to the same level I expected.
Top Positives
- Ease of use
- 1000mAh on a mtl device – GOOD
- Light but sturdy
Niggles
- Some spit back, the vape is hit and miss – it could be I had a dodgy pod but as I only received one so I can only review on the one I have
- Price needs reducing – at £16.99 I do not think it is worth it, it’s a very competitive market and there are some amazing small pod kits that deliver better at cheaper prices
DeeDee’s Overall Score 6/10

Reviewer at POTVIn August 2019 I joined POTV & in Sept I bought a Caliburn and some nic salts & have not touched a cigarette since! I was smoking around 20 cigarettes a day for 26 years!! Mental! I honestly appreciate all the help and guidance from the POTV members, they made the switch so much easier!I am very much into MTL PODs & AIOs.
