Supreme Imports, now Supreme PLC, moved from reselling Duracell batteries to manufacturing over 100K juice bottles a day. It is now the power behind the brands 88Vape, KiK, and Vapenation – as well as selling millions of batteries, lightbulbs, and light fittings each year.
Supreme puts its success down to it transitioning from being a successful brand owner and importer to being a high-quality manufacturer in the UK.
Cuts Ice is a manufacturer with major own brands as well as OEM manufacturing contracts. It is the power behind leading vape brand T Juice and its hugely popular Red Astaire e-liquid.
Flavour Core is a flavour development and regulatory compliance business in e-liquids.
Wholesale distributor and manufacturer Supreme announced the purchase of Cuts Ice Limited and Flavour Core Limited for “undisclosed fees”, and takes on board their facilities, other assets, and order books.
Initially this will include Cuts Ice’s 200 London employees, but it is possible that jobs will be relocated.
The acquisitions are claimed to enable Supreme PLC to diversify its current UK-driven vape division into France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Belgium – mainly using Cuts Ice’s existing sales network. The move also brings on board further flavouring and mixing expertise.
The businesses will be completely amalgamated into Supreme’s current activities immediately, adding to its profits and likely powering even further expansion.
Chief executive at Supreme Sandy Chadha commented: “We are delighted to be acquiring assets from Cuts Ice and Flavour Core, a highly innovative and hugely popular brand both in the UK and across Europe. We continue to see significant growth from within our vaping activities and see this transaction as an excellent example of how we can continue to add both scale and expertise into the Group.”
