Design and Build Quality

The Wismec Gnome is a fairly short and squat sub ohm tank, with a 25mm diameter and 45mm height. It sports a black finish, and an ultem styled wide bore drip tip is installed as standard. A black drip tip is also included in the box if the amber ultem look isn't to your liking!

Tank capacity is a TPD compliant 2ml, with a glass tank section clearly showing how much e-liquid is present in the tank. A sliding top refill mechanism is present on the tank- simply push the top cap where the JayBo logo is engraved to reveal the filling port!

Handily, the Wismec Gnome tank can be fully disassembled in order to clean and maintain it, and it also means that the glass tank section can be easily replaced should you manage to break it. A spare tank section is included in the box.

Airflow

Bottom airflow is present on the Wismec Gnome, with two large airflow slots at the base of the tank. Rotating the smooth airflow control ring allows you to adjust the airflow to your liking, from a wide open lung hit to a restricted lung draw.

Performance

The Wismec Gnome comes bundled with two Wismec WM series coil heads- the WM02 0.15ohm dual coil head and the WM03 0.2ohm triple coil head. An information card in the box shows you what Wismec's recommended wattage ranges for each coil head are, with 45-60W for the WM02 coil head and 70-90W for the WM03 coil head.

Personally, I found that the WM02 coil head performed best in the 55-65W range, and the WM02 coil head performed best at 80-90W. The WM02 coil head gave me a more flavoursome vape, and the WM03 coil head ramped up quicker with a much warmer and cloudier vape!

With both coil heads, I found that the 2ml liquid capacity drained extremely quickly. I've managed to vape through 20ml in one day in this tank alone!

Conclusion

The Wismec Gnome is a solid little sub ohm tank, offering decent flavour and thick cloud production, and an easy top filling method. As you can see from the pictures, it's a great fit for the Wismec RX GEN3 Dual mod too!

Many thanks to UK Vapour Brands for sending the Wismec Gnome in for review!
