Geekvape Aegis Boost RBA
Build the boost…
Finally, Geekvape have the RBA ready and raring to hit the boost and give a more varied approach to the aegis range. This is an important addition for all who own or are thinking of getting this bit of kit. Let's have a look…
Out of the Box
The Pod comes in black with clear plastic design, which is beautifully finished and designed. The retail price is $25 or £15-20, which is very reasonable when compared to other pod specific rbas, and if you shop around, you can find it for even less.
The pod carries 2ml, so it is fully TPD compliant.
There are loads of spare o'rings along with two different coils included, a single wire and a fused clapton.
Always at the bottom of the box is the user manual along with a warranty card.
The Build
The pod is built beautifully and it mimics the original non rba one. The finish is really good and it also has the upgraded rubber seals so less chance of leaking. The machining on the bridge and the coil deck is good with no roughness or excess metal trimmings, which can be a huge issue when you are building on any RBA or RDA as it can cause inconsistent readings at best or at worst will short out.
I decided not to use the original coils I wants to have a play.
Fused Clapton - Single Coil - 0.2ohm
So I built this coil using prebuilt wire, which was a dual core fused clapton. It came in at 0.2ohm which was perfect for a DTL vape. The coil is five wraps with a 2.5mm inner diameter, which for me is perfect. The cotton was slightly tight on the first one but the second was nice a snug. It sucked up the liquid well and worked within about five minutes priming. It chucks clouds like a beast.
Pros
- Solid
- Nicely finished
- Good airflow
- Amazing flavour and clouds
- Easy building
- Refillable Pod
- User replaceable coils
Cons
- None (even after two weeks solid use)
Conclusion
The aegis range just gets better and more diverse. Overall, this is a great RBA and at a great price, making it a go to choice. I would consider that this is designed for experienced and beginner vapers alike, as it is really easy to use. You can manage without building your coils and use the provided stock ones, but if you are feeling a little adventurous then go for it. If you have a boost, you need this! Again well done to GeekVape.
Now would I buy it? Yeah too right!

My first review was on the Wotofo Bravo, where I enjoyed writing it so much and I thought im going to do this so I set up my website www.vapinbolt.comand started producing a blog where I have gained many different partnerships with companies and ongoing contracts for the future going forward Vaping is great and I thank the great community it has where I have built relationships from people all over the world and here in the UK Liquids are now my new venture to have a stable but evenly guide into the vaping world...
