Ferocious Bar Juice Candy Shortfills

It is always a good day when our friends at Vapoholic send over one of their juice bundle boxes for us to try out, and I am always more than happy when the flavours turn out to be sugary candies as I do have a sweet tooth. So the Ferocious Bar Juice Candy range was off to a great start.
Ferocious have already carved out a nice little niche when it comes to e-liquids with huge flavours that can give disposables a run for their money, and to sweeten things even further, the Bar Juice series means that you can enjoy these intense flavours even if you use a subohm orientated set up, although MTL is really the style that will get the best from these juices. For far too long, disposable vapers have had all the fun, but things are changing fast, and now all vapers can vape the flavours they deserve.
Everything about the Ferocious Bar Juice series has been designed to be as accessible as possible, with the aim of making it easy to get the juice you want with as little stress as possible. First up, you need to choose your strength, from between 0mg to 6mg, and each strength comes with its own custom mix of e-liquid, so 0mg will come with a full bottle, 3mg comes with 100ml along with two 18mg nic shots, and finally 6mg will come with 80ml of juice and four shots. No matter which you go for, you will be getting the same amount of flavour, the recipe is adjusted for each level. Once you have that bit sorted, you can then pick between freebase or salts depending on which you prefer or get on best with. Personally I prefer some good old fashion freebase, but it is an individual choice.
As with all of the e-liquids from Vapoholic, the new Ferocious flavours come with the mess free mixing system which takes all the fiddle from adding your nic shots away. The shots have larger than usual nozzles which are a perfect fit to sit on the nibs of the large juice bottles so all you need to do it fit them together and give it a squeeze. All the nic goes straight into the bottles without needing to break any nails or buy extra tools, just squirt it all in, give things a shake, and you are ready to get vaping. I love anything that makes my life easier, so this gets a big thumbs up.
The Flavours
There are four new flavours in the Candy selection, classics to the core. They are all very sweet though so if you prefer things to be a little more nuanced, these probably won’t be to your tastes, but if you like a tasty e-liquid with enough sugar to keep you buzzing for a while, get comfy as we take a closer look.
Red Rainbows
“Red Rainbows: Taste the red in the rainbow with the familiar mouth-watering flavour of your favourite strawberry sugar-shell sweets!”
It won’t take a genius to work out what famous sweet treat this flavour is designed to replicate, but even with that description, you can absolutely work it out just by taking a quick sniff from the bottle. The taste is spot on too, with a sweet candy strawberry made unmistakable thanks to the crisp, sharp tang that cuts through the syrupy goodness. It is this sharpness that really gives it the signature flavour, it gives it a bit of a bite and is the detail that most others miss out. If you want a really authentic rainbow flavour, this is it.
Blue Raspberry Billions
“Blue Raspberry Billions: Bursting with the taste of millions and billions of tiny chewy sweets, indulge in the flavour of endless blue razz candies!”
I will admit that these aren’t one of my favourite sweets, and I’m not the world’s biggest fan of blue raspberry flavours although we have seen some huge leaps forward in recent times, but I went in with an open mind, and this is both better than the actual sweets and is also a really good blue raspberry flavour with plenty of depth. It is also pretty much all sugar too, but at least you don’t need to worry about what your dentist might say with this e-liquid!
Peach Gummy
“Peach Gummy: Get stuck into the delicious flavour of sugary gummies with the mellow notes of peaches!”
I like peach gummies way more than the fruit, so I was really looking forward to this one. This is a great version, juicy and kind of chewy with that fuzzy mouthfeel that you get with the better quality sweets. I was a bit concerned that it may end up being too thick with flavour to vape for a long period, but I tested it thoroughly and can confirm that it a great all day vape if the profile fits your taste.
Sour Cherry Sweets
“Sour Cherry Sweets: Pucker your lips with the sweet taste of glossy cherries and the sour kick of sugary candy!”
I’m not going to bang on about my love of cherry e-liquids as this isn’t a cherry e-liquid. Sure, there is cherry in there, but it is not a fruit flavour, this is gummy candy all the way. I was curious what was meant when Vapoholic said it was glossy, but it really does fit. It is hard to put into words though, but if you like cherry jellies, you will recognise it straight away.
Final Thoughts
If you are the kind of person who can open a bag of the sweets that kids and grown-ups love and eat the lot in one sitting, you are going to love the Ferocious Bar Juice Candy range. They are super sweet though, and they may even be a bit too sweet for some people, but not me! I love candy, and if I can get that same flavour without risking my dental health, I’m all in! If you are used to disposable vapes with their intensely sweet flavours, you will also be happy with these. If you are looking for something delicate, then maybe you should check out some of the other great flavours you can get from Vapoholic as they really do have one of the widest e-liquid menus around. The beauty of vape flavours is that there really is something for everyone, and it is always worth trying as many as you can get your hands on.
