The on/offline hybrid attendance option that became popular during Covid-19 will remain an option going forward.
“We will continue to offer all registered delegates access to the Summit App which allows delegates to watch via live stream, view and download the speaker slides and access the speaker videos on-demand for 3 months post event. The app also allows delegates to submit, answer and up-vote questions and join in the community chat,” says Smooth Events’ director Amanda Strange.
“Celebrating our 10th year in the UK and moving in to our 7th year in Washington D.C, The E-Cigarette Summit provides a neutral evidence-based meeting point for scientists, regulators, industry, public health and practitioners to explore the latest research on e-cigarettes and other emerging nicotine products and facilitate respectful debate. The aim is to ensure that disparate views can be explored in context of a common aim, which is to reduce smoking related death and disease.”
The E-Cigarette Summit is solely funded through individual delegate ticket sales and does not seek or accept any sponsorship/external funding from outside organisation either philanthropic, commercial or government. The Summit has maintained the policy to only invite independent scientists and researchers to present.
“I hope that you will be able to join us at the Summits either in-person or online and we look forward to meeting you in 2023,” Amanda Strange concluded.
