The Vapouround Global Awards is back for 2023, something the trade magazine calls “the most recognised awards evening in the vaping calendar”. It will be the eighth year for the electronic cigarette industry’s “biggest and most glamourous awards show”, hosting additional new categories and titles up for grabs. Consequently, Vapouround says “there are more chances than ever before for brands to get their hands on a trophy”.

The Vapouround Global Awards is a celebration of the prestige and innovation on display in the sector, “masterminded and organised by the world’s biggest vape trade magazine.”

Each year sees hundreds of international advocates, business owners, pioneers and outside voices descend on Birmingham’s National Conference Centre “for a night of revelry and must-deserved recognition”, and 2023 will be no exception.

Ahead of the awards, Vapouround Editor Jordan Millar said: “There’s absolutely no denying that this annual event has become a staple for the industry.

“It’s a gathering of likeminded innovators, forward-thinkers and harm reduction lobbyists who are all united behind one common goal…ending the smoking scourge that is plaguing the lives of millions.

“I, for one, can’t wait to don my suit and join the attendees at this year’s show; as always, it promises to be a fantastic night!”

This year, on May 12, the awards event will see trophies handed out across the 32 categories, including new additions like Best Alternative Nicotine Product and Best Exhibition Stand Builder. Also, this year will see the return of the Best Tradeshow title, which the team is delighted to bring back now there’s no longer a global pandemic preventing expos from going ahead.

The organisers of the Vapouround Global Awards 2023 say: “The awards are split over three categories including the Product Awards – which are voted on by an independent panel of judges – the Industry Awards – which are determined in house - and, as always, the Public Choice Awards.”

Nominations and entries are now open and Vapouround welcomes submissions from the international vaping community, no matter where in the world they are based.

Editor Jordan Millar said: “Even though the awards are hosted in the UK, they are – and always have been – a show of the best and brightest across the global vape community.

“We encourage anybody with a passion for the industry to get involved, whether that’s through nominations, entries or simply throwing on their finest dresswear and joining us in Birmingham.”

He added: “Pushing forth the sector and working to give the world’s billion plus smokers an avenue to quit can sometimes feel like an overwhelming mission.

“I think we’ve all earned a chance to kick back, relax and celebrate our collective achievements so far.”
