GFN22 organisers have announced their third keynote speaker: Nancy Loucas, Executive Coordinator for the Coalition of Asia Pacific Harm Reduction Advocates

The organisers say: “Passionate about consumers having their voices heard in tobacco harm reduction, Nancy co-founded Aotearoa Vapers Community Advocacy, New Zealand’s first consumer-only advocacy organisation for vapers and other safer nicotine users - and has since taken a lead role in developing regional and international advocacy networks.
“Involved in INNCO since its inception, and as Executive Coordinator for CAPHRA, she mentors advocates globally. Nancy will reflect on building communities, recognising difference, and uniting towards a common goal.”
The team is also reminding vapers and harm reduction advocates that the second episode of GFN News is now airing on GFN•TV.
“Join your host Joanna Junak for the news, including an update from Nancy Loucas (CAPHRA) on the Philippines and from Tom Gleeson (NNA Ireland) on the European Parliament’s adoption of an important report on cancer prevention.”
GFN•TV / RegWatch also features an in-depth interview with Dr. John Oyston, who will be joining #GFN22 in Poland later this year as a panelist. Among other topics, John discusses the role of flavours in harm reduction, against the backdrop of Canada’s bans.

Following our recent piece about potential disruption due to the ongoing conflict, organisers say they are continuing to monitor the situation in Ukraine closely.
“As you know, much of our team is based in Poland; many of us have friends and colleagues directly affected by the war. In terms of the conference, we believe our best course of action is to continue preparing for a successful event, while standing ready to adapt if the need arises.
