Launch of UK COP9 campaign #BackVapingSaveLives
On Wednesday We Vape Director Mark Oates will be speaking at a webinar to launch the #BackVapingSaveLives campaign. #BackVapingSaveLives is a campaign encouraging vapers to challenge the government to stand up for vaping at COP9, so that millions of smokers can switch from combustible cigarettes to a scientifically proven alternative – vaping. Currently the World Health Organisation has suggested it is against vaping and even congratulated the Indian Government for banning vaping.
We Vape says: “We will discuss why the campaign is important for UK vapers and also how you can help support the campaign. For this event, we are delighted to be joined by three experts in the field of tobacco harm reduction to discuss how the UK can lead the world in embracing safer alternatives to smoking at COP9.”
Speakers at the #BackVapingSaveLives webinar:
- Clive Bates, Director of Counterfactual and former Director of Action on Smoking and Health
- Mark Oates, Director of We Vape
- Martin Cullip, Chair, New Nicotine Alliance
Details:
- Date: Wednesday, 7th July 2021
- Time: 6.00pm - 7.00pm (UK time)
