Vampire Vape (1) began back in 2012 and became a limited company as Flavour Warehouse LTD a year later. Long-term vapers will remember the company operating from a trestle table at the early Vapefests (as seen in the pictures). So much has changed!
In 2014, Vampire Vape launched its now famous Heisenberg flavour as a Limited Edition for Vapefest – which has since gone on to be a powerful global product.
Last year, POTV reported how Flavour Warehouse had expanded its horizons with the takeover of Irish electronic cigarette company Total Vapour (2). The move enabled the company to double its retail store presence and open up trading opportunities both parts of Ireland.
At the time, Company Director Phil Boyle said: “It’s an exciting time for Flavour Warehouse as we continue to expand our distribution. Total Vapour is going to be a huge asset for our diversification into electronic cigarettes.”
The acquisition of TRULO means Flavour Warehouse has built in resilience to any disruption to trade caused by Brexit and also benefits from adding three Dusseldorf stores to the growing list of brick and mortar outlets.
Phil Boyle commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity. It provides a solid foundation for us to continue our international sales efforts, with support from the wider group.”
Simon Lord, the Managing Director of TRULO, added: “Whenever you look at an acquisition such as this, you look at the potential to add value for your customers. Being part of the Flavour Warehouse Group will bolster our core proposition and present new opportunities for growth. This partnership strengthens our position, and we’re very excited for what the future holds.”
The move came hot on the heels of Flavour Warehouse’s takeover of Vapouriz, based in Guildford, which added a further seven retail stores. Adding those companies to Total Vapour and Premier Vaping means Flavour Warehouse now has a solid base of operations in three countries, servicing clients in, “over 80 countries worldwide via a network of franchises, distributors and resellers.”
Kanesh Khilosia, Director at Flavour Warehouse Ltd., said: “We have come a long way in the last 18 months and remain focussed on delivering exceptional value, choice and quality to our partners and consumers through our expanded channel capability. Our recent acquisitions have delivered an incremental and logical step in delivering on our growth objectives, whilst solidifying this, we continue to identify opportunities to strengthen the groups position as the market leader both in the UK and internationally.”
