VPZ was recently announced on the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 for the second straight year, emphasising the incredible rate of growth the company has achieved. The firm wishes to increase staff numbers and continue to invest in people with a huge growth in local retail store jobs, countering the decline of retail jobs losses across the UK.
VPZ says over a quarter of a million smokers began their quit journey with VPZ over the past two years. The new goal is to double down on this and help 250,000 smokers quit in 2020 alone. The Edinburgh-based firm has sold over 250,000 starter kits across the UK in the past two years alone and many more since its inception in 2012.
The ambitious brand has stated its intentions to continue growing and strengthen its position as the UK’s leading vape specialist, with VPZ issuing a rallying call to all smokers, stating that they are ready to help them every step of the way as they make the switch to vaping.
The announcement at its Head Office in Edinburgh was made by staff at all levels celebrating the incredible impact they have made in helping people make the switch over just the past 7 years.
Doug Mutter, VPZ’s Director of Manufacturing and Compliance said: “In the space of only seven years the company has grown from one shop to over 150 across the UK from Inverness to Penzance. The growth is founded from our roots with the help of our incredible staff, who take real pride and a passionate interest in helping smokers quit through vaping.”
“To have helped a quarter of a million smokers start their journey to a cigarette free life in just the past 2 years shows how effective our service can be. Whilst most businesses are abandoning the High Street, VPZ is investing in local shops and local people. We are passionate believers in the need for having bricks and mortar stores to ensure we are providing direct support and advice through the availability of our staff and our customers value having an expert on hand to help them make the best decisions.”
Doug continued: “We are continuing to outperform the market and believe in High Street growth and investment. Our range of products on offer, expert in-store staff and excellent loyalty schemes, have meant that we have been able to grow a loyal customer base across the whole of the UK with incredible success having available locations and products for any walk of life.”
“The company celebrated its landmark achievement with its staff at the manufacturing HQ in Edinburgh. Staff from across the UK came together to celebrate the achievement and begin planning to redouble their efforts to help 250,000 people in 2020.”
